"I live in Mistley, and the Essex Way passes through the fields and woods behind my house. I first ran a section of it about 9 years ago and I've been in love with it ever since.

For a long time I've thought about how ace it would be to stage an ultra event on the full route from start to finish and I'm really excited to get the chance to do it!"

Chris has completed some cracking ultra events locally (3x SVP100, Five Rivers Ultra & Suffolk Backyard), and further afield (Montane Summer Spine Race, Lakeland 100) and is a member of Harwich Runners.
