About Us
Race Director: Chris Payne
"I live in Mistley, and the Essex Way passes through the fields and woods behind my house. I first ran a section of it about 8 years ago and I've been in love with it ever since!
For a long time I've thought about how ace it would be to hold an ultra event on the path from start to finish and I'm really excited to get the chance to do it!"
Chris has completed some cracking ultra events both locally (3x SVP 100 and Five Rivers Ultra), and nationally (Montane Summer Spine Race, Lakeland 100) and is a member of Harwich Runners.
